About Cré-Actif

With nearly 40 years of experience in the construction industry, Patrick Asselin has held an RBQ licence since 1994 and operated under his own general contractor's licence since 2004.

As the founder of Cré-Actif, he oversees project planning, management, and coordination through to completion. His responsibilities include organizing construction activities, coordinating professionals and skilled trades, and supervising work on site. Drawing on decades of experience, he guides clients through key decisions, anticipates potential challenges, and maintains clear communication throughout the construction process.

Cré-Actif has grown primarily through referrals from clients and industry professionals. These longstanding relationships reflect the trust earned through attentive communication, accessibility, and a consistent commitment to careful project management and quality workmanship.

Interior architecture and design at Cré-Actif are led by Julie Robert. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Concordia University and is currently pursuing a Master of Fine Arts at the same institution. Her sculptural and public art practice brings a particular sensitivity to spatial relationships, volumes, materials, and light.

For more than twenty years, she worked as a head prop master on Quebec and international film productions, collaborating with directors including Darren Aronofsky, Robert Zemeckis, and Jean-Marc Vallée. This experience developed her understanding of materials, objects, scale, and composition, as well as the ways in which these elements shape the experience of a space.

At Cré-Actif, she focuses on spatial planning, material selection, finishes, lighting, and interior architecture, working closely with homeowners, architects, and the other professionals involved in each project.
