Café Pistache

The complete redesign of Café Pistache was based on a clear vision from the owners and the architect. The challenge for Cré-Actif was to bring this vision to life within budget by developing creative, project-specific solutions. Through the careful selection of materials, custom details, and a thoughtful approach to execution, we created a cohesive, refined, and meticulously crafted space while keeping costs under control.

Project challenges

Maximizing natural light

The large window surface offers significant potential for natural light. The challenge lies in organizing the café layout so that this brightness fully benefits the interior spaces.

Optimizing space and capacity

The size of the space requires precise organization to meet standards and capacity requirements. The challenge is to articulate functions, circulation, and volumes into a fluid and welcoming environment.

Our project approach

Existing building analysis

A careful analysis of the building helps us understand its condition, components, and unique features. The assessment focuses on electrical and plumbing systems, their age, and any elements requiring upgrades or replacement. This building assessment allows us to anticipate necessary interventions, identify key issues, and establish a realistic action plan and preliminary budget.

Collaboration with clients

Close collaboration with the owners ensures continuity between design and construction. In this project, one of the owners, who holds a degree in architecture, had designed the plans for the future space. Cré-Actif worked closely with her to translate this vision into construction details, anticipate site challenges, and preserve the original intent throughout the project.

Accelerate operational launch

For any business, every day on a construction site has a direct impact on operational launch and profitability. Planning was therefore designed from the outset to reduce delays and ensure efficient coordination. Cré-Actif worked closely with custom furniture manufacturers from the early stages to anticipate production needs, coordinate tasks, and avoid delays during construction.
